Get Lean and Agile for Free

A couple of weeks ago we shared some Lean and Agile case studies that demonstrated how the benefits of implementing Playbook methods and tools far outweigh the costs. With an exceptional team already in place, implementing Lean and Agile is the next step in elevating your product development approach.

This week we’d like to share our approach to ramping up a team with the first level of Lean and Agile methods.

Lean Agile Free Trial Approach

It’s been proven that the best way to learn a new skill is to actually do it for a while. So we don’t just teach a class, or set up a tool and leave. First, we teach your team the key Lean and Agile principles that make these methods so powerful. Then we show them how those principles are embedded in the software. Then we help them enter the plan details for one of your projects, show them how to execute effective stand-ups, update their tasks, and do the rolling wave planning. We also set up a the key Lean/Agile reports, as well as any existing reports that you might want.

Once the team is up and running, we let them use Playbook on their live project for a few weeks so they can experience it first-hand in your unique environment. The new level of visibility and communication will create these outcomes:

  • Senior Management gets predictable end dates and several new real-time project status indicators.
  • Project Managers get to focus on strategic work and never have to ask again, “What percent complete is that?”
  • Team members finally don’t feel so overloaded and don’t have to multitask because they finally have clear and correct priorities.

As a result, everyone is happier. Yes, a new tool and process really can impact the culture as you saw in the case studies.

If you want to learn more, here is an outline of the steps involved in the Free Trial.

And if you are wondering if these changes are possible at your company, reach out and spend a few minutes letting us know your specific goals. If we agree together that Playbook is a fit, we can then tailor a Free Trial to your requirements.
